"Lily’s Garden Childhood Cancer Discovery Grants have made a real difference in the lives of children with cancer and move us close to understanding the causes of cancer and developing more effective and less toxic treatments.

These grants provide seed funding to take the great ideas of our faculty to larger concepts that are competitive for funding from the National Cancer Institute, where only 4% of all funding goes to childhood cancer research. We want to honor Lily’s wish that no child goes through what she did and these grants are an essential step to get us there!"
